The C12 Room in Roof Insulation system offers complete compliance with all parts of the Building Regulations 2010 and the Guide to Best Practice – but it is also cost effective, easy and safe to install.

BBA Approved

The PIR board and laminate elements of the system are BBA approved, with BBA Certificate 23/6997 and BBA Certificate 23/6874.

Low thermal conductivity

Low thermal conductivities of just 0.022 and 0.021 W/mK for the UNILIN THIN-R Thermal Liner boards (XT/TL AND XT/TL-MF) and  UNILIN XTROLINER Pitched Roof Insulation (XO/PR) boards respectively.

Exceptional Fire Safety

Unlike some competitors, the UNILIN THIN-R Thermal Liner boards (XT/TL AND XT/TL-MF) board has a reaction to fire classification of B-s1, d0 which means that in all roof room settings it complies with requirement B2 (under Part B, Fire Safety) of the Building Regulations 2010. Making it the safest room in roof system on the market in terms of fire performance.

Reaction to Fire Classification

Superglass mineral wool insulation elements have reaction to fire classification of Class A1. Insulated plasterboard elements are rated B-s1,d0 and rigid PIR board elements are rated C-s2,d0.

Low U-values in the range of 0.30 to 0.16 W/m²K with insulation depths of 50mm to 120mm over rafters (with 50mm in between).
